Workers lost on the job

BC is again holding a Day of Mourning on April 28 to remember workers lost on the job as a result of work-related incidents or occupational diseases in the province, of which there were 149 last year.

This may seem a morbid exercise but it serves as an important reminder to all of us to work safely.

Remember that for the families who have lost loved ones in workplace incidents it’s a lifetime of mourning, not just a day.
