A Kansas painter died this week when a scissor lift that he was working on fell over.
All we know is that two painters were working on the lift at a height of about 25 feet, as the lift tipped over one painter fell and landed on a truck. A portion of the scissor lift then fell on top of him.
The second painter was uninjured.
Nobody knows yet what happened here but we do know the most common cause of scissor lift tip overs is uneven ground.
