Forklift operators must be able to see

Time and time again we see forklift operators unable to see where they are going because of a tall load.  The rules are clear – if you can’t see travel in reverse, but look where you are going.  If you can’t travel in reverse use a spotter – but make sure you can see the spotter at all times.  If you are travelling up a ramp with a load the load must be facing uphill so you must have a spotter.  Here is a link showing what happens if you don’t follow these rules.
