Three top mistakes by forklift operators

In our training travels we do encounter some really good forklift operators and some not so good ones.  But even the best sometimes forget something really important.  Driving a forklift requires a constant heightened state of awareness, you can’t afford to be distracted even for a second.

The three most common errors we find are: not lowering the load or forks as soon as possible, driving too fast, and not looking behind before backing up.

So here’s the deal: drive it slow, keep it low and check behind before you go.
