Forklift recertification TRAINING This course complies with the WorkSafe BC requirement that operators receive refresher training every 2 years and gives operators an opportunity to review previously acquired knowledge and skills, in particular the rules for safe operation. The program also homes in on any bad habits operators may have developed, as well as addressing issues of complacency that often set in and are common causes of forklift accidents. A theory review session with real life examples is followed by practical re-evaluation. This program is available for counterbalanced forklifts, narrow aisle reach trucks, order pickers as well electric pallet trucks and scissor lifts, and is customized to cover company specific issues. Operators should have proof of previous training to take this course. Did you know that supervisors and managers are responsible for ensuring that operators obey the regulations on an ongoing basis.
