PROGRAM SUMMARY

The time taken for each course varies according to group size and previous experience.  All programs include a theory session first, followed by practical training.  Each trainee receives their own personal workbook for class study, and once training is completed to a satisfactory standard the company receives a certification package for each individual with a wallet card and certificate, plus an evaluation folder and test sheets for retention in the employee's training records.

This is a typical one day workplace training course for a group of six employees:

Morning Session

  • Course introduction
  • Review of regulations
  • Classes of equipment and main parts
  • Group study of course workbook including equipment safety theory and safe operation
  • Multimedia presentation reviewing theory and operation
  • Theory evaluation
  • Pre shift inspection including how to design a personalized check list

Afternoon Session

  • Hands-on training one on one
  • Individual practical evaluations
  • Performance review and result

Programs can also be customized to cover more than one type of forklift. Our courses are very flexible so that we can fit in with your work day, 7 days a week.

Forklifts are classified by the Industrial Truck Association, if you are not sure what type of forklift you have, give us a call.
