FORKLIFt Cross training or upgrade training If you have an operator who is trained but not on the right type of forklift, we can customize a cross training course for you that will include a theory session to cover the main differences in operation, as well as practical driver training and evaluation. For example, a new employee who has been driving an outdoor propane powered counterbalanced forklift, should not be allowed to take the controls of a narrow aisle reach truck without appropriate training. If you purchase new equipment or special attachments or the operating conditions change we can customize an upgrade training course for you. For example if your company moves to a new facility with a loading dock or an outdoor ramp and these conditions did not exist previously, upgrade training is required. Did you know that regulations require upgrade training if equipment is modified or the operating conditions change.
Different PPE is required on different types of mobile equipment.
