Counterbalanced forklift

This certification program includes: regulations, types of counterbalanced forklift, stability, pre-use inspections and safe operating procedures plus fuel systems (electric, propane, diesel or gas).  During the practical training portion we also tailor our program to cover site specific issues, such as working in trailers or on ramps, outdoor surface conditions and special load characteristics as well as any attachments that may be used in your business.

Did you know that sit-down counterbalanced forklifts are the most common, both propane and electric.  An electric stand-up style known as a dockstocker or end-rider is also classified as a counterbalanced forklift.

Counterbalanced forklifts are classified as ITA Class 1, 4 or 5.
